About Brian

Brian is a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with marginalized communities, including at-risk youth and refugees across the Greater Toronto Area. While working in clinical practice, Brian also served as a Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Infantry Officer. Drawing on both his military and therapeutic experience, he now focuses on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, with particular expertise in working with veterans and first responders facing trauma and other complex mental health challenges.

Brian’s clinical work is highlighted in the book The Ketamine Breakthrough. He also contributed to the research article Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for Generalized Anxiety Disorder: A Comprehensive Case Report with Integrated Neurophysiological Imaging Using Magnetoencephalography. In addition, he is currently involved in psilocybin clinical trials with Compass Pathways and has received training in MDMA-assisted therapy through MAPS.

Brian integrates hypnotherapy, breathwork, and somatic approaches into his work to support deep, body-centered healing. His practice is grounded in the belief that every person possesses an innate capacity to heal, and he sees his role as helping clients reconnect with their own intuition and inner resources to foster meaningful and lasting change.
